American Traveler is hiring a Float Pool RN for Med/Surg Telemetry across multiple units, requiring an active MA RN license and prior travel nursing experience.

• Float pool role covering 8 different Med/Surg Telemetry units including Davenport 5, 7, 8, 9, ED, PH6/7, Pingree 4, and Overflow
• Care includes ED boarder patients, medication administration in the acute mental health unit, and non-vented transfer-ready ICU patients
• Clinician-to-patient ratios up to 5:1 on days/evenings and up to 6:1 on nights
• Units range from 8 to 41 beds within a 371-bed facility
• Schedule rotates between days and evenings, with 1 to 3 rotations to nights per contract
• Requires every-other-weekend (EOW) work for a 36-hour, 13-week assignment
• Uses Epic EMR for charting

• Active Massachusetts RN license required
• AHA BLS certification required
• 2 years of acute care hospital experience in one location required
• 2 years of experience working as a traveler required
• Telemetry monitoring experience including strip interpretation and interval measurement every 4 hours
• TR Band experience required
• Experience performing cardiac drips and reading telemetry strips required

• Monitor cardiac telemetry and manage cardiac drips as part of daily responsibilities
• Float flexibility across multiple Med/Surg Telemetry units required
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Free on-site parking available
• Local candidates accepted if residing within 60 miles of the facility, with pay rate adjusted accordingly
