Retail Service Specialist

Job Overview

The Retail Service Specialist will support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations, and will also manage shift duties in their absence. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Pay Range: $15.00 - $18.50 per hour. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses and premiums based on schedule, facility, season or specific work performed. Premiums may be paid per hour if criteria are met.

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, including team member execution of customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered per company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store‑to‑store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently according to procedure.
• Process retail customer returns and exchanges accurately and stage returned merchandise.
• Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before products leave the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks.
• Ensure team members follow posted work schedule, obtain approval for deviations, and clock in/out per policy.
• Perform all store opening/closing duties, including day‑end procedures, money handling, bank deposits, security alarms, and vehicle security.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
