Automation Technician
We are seeking an experienced Automation Technician to support and maintain highly automated production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting complex systems, working with PLCs and robotics, and helping drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot, program, and maintain PLCs, HMIs, and related automation systems.
- Create, configure, and troubleshoot PLC networks while supporting new equipment installations and production line expansions.
- Maintain PLC software backups and ensure programming devices remain updated and ready for use.
- Support automated robotic systems, including troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance.
- Train maintenance team members on PLC diagnostics and ladder logic fundamentals.
- Install, modify, repair, and maintain automated manufacturing equipment in accordance with engineering standards and safety guidelines.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and production efficiency.
- Assist with facility and equipment maintenance as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in an on-call or flexible schedule that may include weekends or occasional support across multiple shifts.
- 2+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls, or manufacturing maintenance.
- Hands‑on experience troubleshooting PLC‑controlled equipment.
- Familiarity with industrial networking and automation systems.
- Experience supporting robotic equipment is a plus (Yaskawa experience preferred but not required).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience using preventative maintenance (PM) or CMMS software is preferred.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with maintenance, engineering, and production teams.
- Associate degree in Automation Technology, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field preferred.
- Equivalent military training, technical certifications, or relevant hands‑on experience will also be considered.
