The Maritime Operations personnel is a qualified and authorized employee that operates vessels under direction from the General Manager. This is a seasonal role with full-time or part-time hours.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate vessels for relocation, haulage, repair, tow, passenger movement or other miscellaneous operations

Ensure passenger safety and provide customer service

Assist in and/or conduct vessel operations and maintenance as directed by the Captain Monitor daily progress of the vessel, observing speed, engine pressure and water depths, and signaling any passing ships

Available to work overtime when required

Any other duties as assigned by Manager Safety and Environmental Responsibilities Follow SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related training.

Physical Requirements High school diploma or equivalent2-5 years marina experience preferred

Prior management experience a plus

USCG Captains License Required Ability to work safely around water

Must be able to swim

Must have a valid drivers' license

Ability to lift 50 pounds
