SummaryJob Summary
Responsible for operating a shuttle bus and/or passenger coach-type vehicle. Reports to the Supervisor of Transportation (or to a designated individual in the Supervisor's absence).

Essential Functions- Provide safe, courteous, and professional service to passengers while en route to/from destinations.
- Follow established routes and departure times. Communicates with dispatch for guidance on any detours/delays.
- Operates vehicles in accordance with Mass General Brigham Fleet Safety Program Policies and Procedures, as well as in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Ensures adherence to passenger limits for both seated and standing passengers.
- Assists passengers with disabilities and others needing assistance in boarding and disembarking from the vehicle via the wheelchair lift.
- Reports any emergencies/concerns with the vehicle and/or passengers immediately to the Supervisor and/or Dispatcher.
- Safely transports passengers to various destinations while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Adheres to assignments in accordance with scheduled shuttle routes prepared by the Manager, Supervisor, and/or Dispatcher.
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred

Licenses and Credentials
MGH Security RMV Check/Registry of Motor Vehicles Driving Report - MGB Internal required
ExperienceProven experience as a shuttle bus driver 1-2 years required

- Excellent driving skills for shuttle buses and coach-type vehicles with the ability to navigate various road and weather conditions safely.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
