RoleSummary
The Process Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring safe, stable, and efficient manufacturing operations across multiple facilities. This individual will lead process improvement initiatives, troubleshoot complex production challenges, and support capital and operational projects that directly impact performance. This role blends hands on engineering, project ownership, and strategic problem solving. You will partner closely with plant leadership, operations teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders to identify opportunities, implement improvements, and drive measurable results in uptime, quality, and cost optimisation.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze plant operations data to improve process stability, reliability, and efficiency
- Collaborate with plant managers and operators to identify and resolve production challenges
- Lead root cause analysis, incident reviews, and corrective action implementation
- Develop and improve SOPs to enhance consistency and operational performance
- Support and manage capital projects including equipment upgrades and facility improvements
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste and improve throughput
- Conduct plant audits and inspections to ensure compliance with standards and continuous improvement
- Partner with R&D, supply chain, and finance teams to support process optimisation and business initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering or related field
- 5 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment with process improvement focus
- Proven experience transitioning processes from development to full‑scale production
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Hands on experience with capital projects, equipment design, or process optimisation
- Familiarity with PLC systems, 3D modelling tools such as Solid Works, and data analysis techniques is preferred
- Experience with statistical analysis, process control, and manufacturing data interpretation is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage across operations, engineering, and leadership teams
- Self‑driven and adaptable with the ability to operate independently in an evolving environment
