Summaryof Position
Responsible for serving food and/or beverages in a timely, friendly and efficient manner in the company’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.
Responsibilities- Accurately take orders from guests, submit to kitchen using Point-of-Sales (POS) software, deliver food and drinks, bus tables or assist busser/runner
- Knowledge of restaurant and bar menu promotions and specials
- In an honest and timely manner, prepare checks, process credit cards, accept and make accurate change for cash payments
- Ensure alcoholic/non‑alcoholic beverages are served in accordance with Federal, State, Local regulations and Company procedures
- Provide timely, courteous service to all guests throughout the meal service
- Set tables, polish glasses, prepare workstations and other side work as assigned
- Accurately prepare sales and tip reports at shift’s end, deposit cash and credit card receipts
- Understand Company ISO (Environmental & Quality) management systems, Health and Safety standards, policies, goals and initiatives and meet the specific responsibilities within these areas
- Complete other front of house duties such as host, and busser - food runner as needed to meet business requirements
- Other duties per Duties Checklist and as requested
- Obtain Serv Safe Certification in accordance with Company F&B policy
- Excellent customer service and people skills
- Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts
- Must have excellent communication skills and be able to count change and reconcile paperwork
- Majority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast‑paced environment, in close proximity to other people
- Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent - Experience:
Minimum (1) year in a restaurant establishment;
Resort/National Park Concession preferred
