Class A Delivery Driver

Salem, MO

Monday – Saturday typically, 3AM – 6AM or 6PM – 8PM. Average 10–12 hour shifts. Some travel and overnight nights to other domicile locations. Hotel and per diem provided.

$34.06 per hour (expected base rate up to $35.20).

• Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times.
• Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two‑wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place them in designated customer storage areas.
• Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures.
• Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
• Perform professional customer service to enhance client experience.
• Perform all pre‑trip and post‑trip equipment inspections.

• Lift, carry, push, or pull 20–80+ lbs repeatedly during each shift.
• Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather with frequent stops.

• Register with FMCSA Clearinghouse.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence, including necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months in food and/or beverage delivery.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission preferred; may be required for specific locations.
• Read and communicate in English—hold a conversation, understand highway signs and signals, respond to inquiries, and enter information on reports and records.

• FMCSA Clearinghouse registration is required by the Department of Transportation. Drivers must register on the Clearinghouse website ((Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).).

Compensation depends on relevant experience and education. Expected base rate is between $34.06 and $35.20. This role may also receive overtime compensation.
