The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for performing assigned duties in accordance with NRHN policies, procedures, and standards of care while supporting the organization’s mission, values, and commitment to quality outcomes.
Essential ResponsibilitiesEnsure timely and accurate processing of payroll. Ensure the accuracy of the timecards and the interface between the Time and Attendance System to the Payroll System. Process bi‑weekly tax deposits for payroll. Perform quarterly and annual tax filings. Perform bi‑weekly payroll analysis. Answer all related payroll inquiries. Assist in the monthly financial close to include the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
AdditionalTasks
- Audit and enter all employee expense reports.
- Assist with the Accounts Payable check run process. Match purchase orders (POs) with invoices and enter in the system.
- Ensure all processed checks are accurately matched with corresponding vendor invoices and supporting payment documentation.
- Sort and file documents, records and reports according to established alphabetical, numerical or chronological systems.
- Associate degree in business or accounting or comparable experience.
- Basic working knowledge of Excel or spreadsheet applications including inputting and formatting formulas and printing.
