The Opportunity

We're seeking a Director of Sales to architect and lead our commercial growth engine. This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact role at a brand with serious momentum — where your decisions will shape how SQAIRZ shows up on the shelves of the nation's top sporting goods retailers.

What You'll Do

You'll own the full commercial picture — from strategy to execution. That means personally calling on executive-level buyers at major national and regional sporting goods chains, securing new distribution, and building the annual sales plans, forecasts, and performance metrics that keep us moving toward our targets.

You'll lead and develop a team of internal sales professionals, key account managers, and independent rep networks, giving them the strategic clarity and accountability framework they need to perform. You'll collaborate closely with marketing on retail activations and product launches, and represent SQAIRZ at key trade events and industry moments.

You'll also structure national programs, margin frameworks, and inventory strategies to maximize sell-through and profitability across retail, wholesale, and distribution channels worldwide.

What You Bring

You have 7–10+ years of progressive sales leadership in the sporting goods industry or adjacent performance product categories. You've sat across the table from major retail buyers, navigated line reviews, and come out the other side with wins. You know how to build a sales org from the ground up and how to scale one that's already moving.

You're equally at home thinking strategically and rolling up your sleeves to close. You're comfortable with ERP, CRM, and project management systems. You understand wholesale margin structures, retail buying cycles, and what it takes to launch a new product into national accounts.

A bachelor's degree is required; an MBA is a plus. Experience in footwear, athletic equipment, or performance apparel is strongly preferred — and existing relationships with major sporting goods buyers will make you stand out.
