OverviewAs a Locum Physician specializing in General Medicine based in New Hampshire, you will play a vital role in conducting interview-based assessments and physical examinations for Veterans. Your expertise will ensure accurate evaluations, contributing directly to Veterans' well‑being and benefits processing. This position offers the flexibility of working on a per‑shift basis within your own office, with minimal administrative duties and no requirement for treatment or prescribing.

- Valid medical license in New Hampshire.
- Board-certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related general medicine specialties.
- Experience in conducting physical assessments, such as range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Strong interview and patient assessment skills.
- Ability to work independently within your own office for scheduled days.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for report submission and documentation.
- Prior experience with compensation and pension examinations.
- Familiarity with Veteran health assessments and guidelines.
- Additional certifications or training related to military or veteran health services.
Education and Experience
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Previous outpatient clinical experience, especially in general medicine or occupational health.
- Experience performing non‑treatment evaluations in a legal or administrative context is advantageous.
- Own practice location within a 50‑mile radius of designated assessment sites in Lincoln and Lebanon, NH.
- Willingness to perform assessments on a PRN basis, including occasional administrative follow‑up.
- Ability to complete exams and report submissions within designated shift times.
Participation in required training and onboarding processes. - Local candidates preferred; travel costs are included in rates when applicable.
