FinOps Representative

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Operations Analyst to support day-to-day financial processes and reporting activities. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions, strengthening internal controls, and improving operational efficiency across finance functions. • Process and validate a high volume of financial transactions, including invoices, payments, credits, and adjustments, with a high level of accuracy
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure the integrity of financial data and reporting
• Respond to billing and payment inquiries from internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors in a timely and professional manner
• Support time-sensitive financial requests, including escalations, corrections, and urgent payment processing needs
• Prepare and maintain recurring financial reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis for leadership review
• Partner with accounting, finance, and operational teams to resolve issues and enhance communication across departments
• Analyze financial data and trends to support decision-making and identify areas for improvement
• Contribute to the development and optimization of financial processes, tools, and reporting workflows
• Ensure adherence to established policies, procedures, and applicable financial regulations
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability within financial operations
• Maintain thorough documentation of processes and support ongoing process improvement initiatives
• Participate in ad hoc projects and support additional finance-related responsibilities as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• 2-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, financial operations, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions); experience with Word and financial/ERP systems such as Net Suite, SAP, or similar platforms preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally across all levels of an organization
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, matrixed environment
• Self-motivated and solutions-oriented, with the ability to take initiative and drive tasks to completion
• Adaptability and flexibility in managing changing priorities and evolving business needs
• Interest in leveraging technology and process improvements to enhance financial operations
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive, collaborative approach
• Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings or training (up to 5%, if required)
