ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Obtain pricing and performance information from investment firms and other contracted parties. Validate the accuracy of this data through various checks and balances. Apply this information to the recordkeeping and ancillary systems. Perform these functions by specified deadlines.
- Perform daily cash reconciliations for the established demand deposit accounts (dda's). Instruct the trustees and custodians on money movements associated with these dda's. Research and resolve all discrepancies arising from variances in the reconciliation.
- Acquire and post all dividend transactions to the recordkeeping system by the established time frames. Research and resolve all global dividend discrepancies.
Be the resource for all in RS for knowing, interpreting, and communicating tax legislation.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Competent to work on moderately complex Financial Control functions. Responsible for assisting and training Analyst I positions on tasks and reconciling items.
General supervision. Uses some discretion and evaluation. Work is checked for soundness of judgement and overall accuracy.
Works under general supervision.
Errors may cause delay, expense, and disruption. Affects accuracy and quality of functions being performed.
Limited external contact. Internal contact primarily with ADP associates who have more complex Financial Control questions.
Occasional function guidance.
EDUCATION
- EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent training.
- 1 to 3 years of general Financial Control experience OR 1 to 2 years as a Financial Control Analyst I having mastered the skills for that role and excelling in the performance management appraisal.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience in mailroom operations, print operations, financial services, or a related operational environment preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
- Experience working within regulated environments and adhering to compliance and audit requirements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and reporting tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
