PT/OT Lymphedema Therapist
The PT/OT performs the duties of the clinical specialist with competence in skills and professionalism treating a primary patient care population for lymphedema. The PT/OT actively participates in the growth and development of their clinic, including quality management and program development.
Qualifications- New graduate PT/OT with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Clinical training and experience in evaluation and treatment of a primary patient care population of lymphedema in female, male, and pediatric patients.
- Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists must be licensed in their state of hire and eligible for licensure in an alternate state (license to be obtained within 3 months of hire).
- Good general health and emotional stability.
- Ability to bend, lift, and assist with transfers and ambulation.
- Adequate physical strength to assist with resistive activities.
- Trained and certified biannually in CPR.
- Required to work a minimum of two evenings per week unless approved by the VP of Special Projects.
- To maintain: meet majority of job criteria annually.
