Information Assurance Manager (Cybersecurity | Aviation Technology)

We’re looking for an experienced Information Assurance Manager (IAM) to lead cybersecurity strategy for cutting‑edge aviation security systems, including CT scanners, enterprise software, and network infrastructure. This is a high‑visibility role where you’ll partner across engineering, IT, and compliance to embed security into everything we build.
What You’ll Do- Lead the design and implementation of secure architectures across products and systems
- Drive Dev Sec Ops integration across software and hardware development life cycles
- Own and evolve our information security program (NIST 800-53, RMF, ISO 27001, NIS2)
- Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, and POA&M management
- Support ATO approvals and maintain compliance readiness
- Serve as the primary cybersecurity contact for customers, audits, and external reviews
- 6+ years in cybersecurity (with software development focus)
- 3+ years in Information Assurance leadership
- Strong expertise in NIST 800-53, RMF, ISO 27001, NIS2
- Experience building policies, STIGs, and security procedures
- Ability to communicate risk and strategy clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences
- U.S. Person (citizen or lawful permanent resident) required
- CISSP, GSE, CASP+, or CCNP Security
- Aviation or regulated industry experience
- Hands‑on work with Linux (Red Hat), networks, and modern infrastructure environments
