Senior Business Systems Specialist

• Support the buildout of the Workday Prism and Accounting Center platform
• Support organizational priorities and use-cases
• Work with technology areas, product owners, and stakeholders to understand business requirements
• Lead system development, documentation, testing, and post-production support for large and complex system integrations
• Oversee research of complex system issues and coordinate their resolution
• Research and evaluate business system application developments and technologies relevant to the business and future strategy
• Conduct advanced data analysis and development
• Manage enterprise-scale databases and integrations
• Query large databases and source systems to identify defects and resolve issues
• Represent business-on-business issues and requirements for large and complex system projects
• Analyze business requirements and perform data analysis
• Assist with change management, training, and testing efforts
• Interpret business rules, functional requirements, and data definitions
• Collaborate to resolve inconsistencies and inadequacies in requirements
• Develop user acceptance testing and quality assurance test scenarios and cases
• Produce and maintain accurate test documentation

• Intermediate accounting knowledge
• Insurance data-management experience
• Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service
• Demonstrated experience developing relationships with internal and external partners
• Knowledge of business systems and applying them to leverage efficiencies in a business environment
• Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies, practices, techniques and tools
• Knowledge and understanding of systems development life cycle (SDLC)
