The Assembler II will join our dynamic team in our Salem, NH location.
Duties / Responsibilities (essential job functions in order of importance)- High school diploma or GED required.
- Perform light manufacturing and use of assembly equipment, such as ultrasonic welder, soldering stations, optical fiber cutters/strippers, screwdrivers, tape measure, wrenches, and other small hand tools.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel files.
- Microscope experience preferred.
- Minimum of 1‑2 years of related assembly experience.
- Perform tasks and carry out successive steps of routine work in accordance with instructions provided by the supervisor, policies, and procedures; instructions only on new assignments.
- Work well with others as part of a team.
- Ability to access Company email, benefits, payroll, and other applications.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and follow verbal and written work instructions.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Requires basic skills to read and follow blueprint schematics.
- Able to lift up to a maximum of 50 pounds at times.
- Able to stand or sit for long periods of time.
- Hand‑eye coordination in order to work with small fiber‑optic components.
