2nd Shift General Shop Hand

Overview:

General Shop Hand is an entry level position that reports to the Production Supervisor. A General Shop Hand is responsible for assisting the production team in completing customer orders per the direction of their supervisor. It is essential the General Shop Hand promotes a safe and efficient work environment while embracing a continuous improvement culture.

• Aiding with general assembly in fabrication department
• Safely cut, grind, and drill metal or wood components using hand and power tools
• Assist co-workers and the department supervisor with meeting production targets
• Maintain a healthy and safe working environment
• Paint product components in paint booth
• Take on other duties as necessary to achieve company goals

Ideal Candidate:

• Ability to read a tape measure up to 16ths
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and efficiently
• Be able to lift and carry heavy objects (50 pounds+)

Other Information:

• Hourly - Full Time (M-F; 3:15PM-11:45PM; potential overtime opportunities)
• Works out of our Salem NH location, 1 Northwestern Drive
