Manufacturing Process Engineer

Syn Qor seeks a recent Engineering Bachelor’s Degree graduate for the position of Manufacturing Process Engineer responsible for providing engineering support to high volume manufacturing processes.

• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing and assembly process and methods to obtain maximum productivity levels
• Identify and implement cost reductions
• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment
• Instruct, help, guide, and mentor operators
• Recommend engineering design changes as needed
• Develop and maintain process work instructions
• Data collection and analysis to drive continuous process improvement and root cause corrective action
• Process control and process improvement activities

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical)
• 1 - 3 years of experience preferred

• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes used in the electronics manufacturing industry. Examples include knowledge of SMT placement, reflow soldering, thru‑hole soldering, hand assembly, and SMT repair.
• Ability to prioritize and balance multiple ongoing tasks.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Electronics manufacturing experience a plus.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills, with ability to make and implement decisions
• Motivated to work on own initiative with results‑oriented attitude
• A hands‑on approach is essential, with ownership of products and processes
• Must be a team player
