Solderer Assembler - Contract To Hire
An electronic component manufacturing isseeking a skilled Solderer Assembler in the Salem, NH area to support engineering prototypes and low-volume production programs. This company is known for its commitment to quality and innovation in electronic manufacturing.
Shift of the Solderer Assembler:
6a-3:30pm M-Thurs every other Friday off with Friday hours being 6am-2:30pm
Pay Rate of the Solderer Assembler:
$28-29/hr DOE
Responsibilities of the Solderer Assembler:
- Perform SMT, through-hole, and electro-mechanical assembly and soldering using engineering documentation and assembly drawings.
- Support engineering prototype, pilot, and small-run production builds.
- Identify and resolve product start-up and assembly issues in collaboration with engineering and customers.
- Perform solder touch-up, modification, and rework on electronic assemblies.
- Assemble PCBs, cables, wire harnesses, connectors, and electronic components to required specifications.
- Previous experience in electronic assembly and soldering.
- Experience with surface mount (SMT) and through-hole soldering techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Experience using soldering irons, microscopes, and electronic assembly equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
