What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
- Certification: Active IPC-A-610 Certification is required.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience analyzing SMT and THT board assemblies.
- Blueprint Savvy: Proven ability to read engineering drawings and interpret tolerance specs.
- Tech
Skills:
Comfortable identifying components, using standard inspection tools, and logging data into computers. - Physical: Comfortable sitting for long periods, utilizing a microscope, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Precision Inspection: Visually inspect PCB assemblies, Surface Mount Technology (SMT), and Through-Hole Technology (THT) components for 100% compliance using a microscope (10-20X magnification).
- First Article Verification: Conduct first article inspections on new production runs using blueprints and work instructions.
- Keep It Accurate: Catch, log, and document all defects meticulously to ensure zero-defect shipping.
