Surface Mount AOI Inspectors - 1st Shift

Our client is looking for Two Experienced AOI Inspectors, a vital role within a leading electronics manufacturing services provider supporting diverse market sectors including aerospace, medical, military, wireless infrastructure, and industrial  this role, you will be responsible for visually inspecting PCB assemblies and component parts for compliance with industry standards such as IPC-A-610. Your day-to-day tasks include performing first article inspections, documenting all defects accurately, and ensuring that manufacturing standards are met.

You’ll utilize inspection tools, including microscopes with 10-20X magnification, and interpret engineering drawings and tolerance specifications to verify assembly quality. Candidates with experience in SMT and THT PCB assembly, IPC acceptance criteria, and AOI or microscope inspection are encouraged to apply.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Required Skills, Education, and

Experience:

High School Diploma or Equivalent At least 2 years of experience inspecting SMT and THT PCB assemblies according to IPC-A-610 standards

Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret tolerance requirements

Experience using microscopes and inspection tools for quality assessments

Strong documentation, communication, and analytical skillsIPC-A-610 certification is desirableAOI experience preferred
