Overview
The Lead has a direct impact on both the execution of brand standards and the teammate experience. Working with the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, the Lead is the in‑store expert for their business/department, focused on delivering the best service to customers and providing direction to teammates. The Lead leads by example, is empathic, relentless, optimistic, and collaborative, and builds a people‑first culture through mentoring, hiring, and coaching.
They plan, organize, and control upcoming work, delegate tasks based on priority, uphold merchandising and presentation standards, and support the store leadership team with general supervision. The Lead trains teammates on procedures and programs, prioritizes coaching and development, and creates an inclusive store environment that feels welcoming and safe for all.

- Prior retail sales experience (or customer‑focused experience) preferred
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. repeatedly (up to 25 times per hour)
- Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking
- Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously)
