Licensed Pest Control Technician – Worcester/Providence Area
We are seeking a licensed Pest Control Technician to join our team in the Worcester‑Newton‑Natick‑Acton MA and Providence RI marketing area.
Job Responsibilities- Accurately identify pests and assess infestation levels to determine effective treatment plans.
- Apply chemical and non‑chemical treatments safely and effectively, adhering to all regulatory requirements.
- Regularly monitor pest activity and modify treatment strategies based on site‑specific dynamics and client feedback.
- Maintain and calibrate pest control equipment and manage supplies inventory to ensure operational readiness.
- Educate clients on pest behavior, treatment procedures, and preventive measures.
- Complete detailed service reports documenting treatments, pest activity, and client interactions.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry standards and emerging technologies.
- Respond to emergency pest situations promptly, providing solutions.
- Collaborate with team members and the IPM Area Supervisor to enhance service efficacy and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain Outlook email and Teams account (check emails at least twice daily).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- State pesticide applicator’s license (paid training and state certifications provided for non‑licensed new hires).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work full‑time, including overtime during the busy season.
- Pass a pre‑employment background check.
