Position: Electrical Apprentice – Carpentry Experience | Boston to Southern NH

Electrical Apprentice - Carpentry Experience Preferred

One of our trusted customers is growing its electrical division - and we’re looking for hardworking Electrical Apprentices who already have carpentry or general construction experience.

If you’re a carpenter, construction apprentice, or skilled tradesperson looking to build a career in electrical work, this is an opportunity to get your foot in the door with a company that values your existing skills while you develop new ones.

Our electrical division is expanding, and we currently have commercial projects throughout the 495 belt, from Boston-area job sites to Southern New Hampshire. Candidates must be comfortable traveling to different job sites throughout the area.

What You’ll Do
  • Assist electricians with commercial electrical installations and service work
  • Replace older commercial light fixtures with new LED fixtures
  • Perform basic electrical tasks under the direction of experienced electricians
  • Use your existing carpentry and construction skills to support projects
  • Perform general carpentry and construction work when electrical work is not scheduled
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site
  • Follow all OSHA and company safety requirements
  • Work as part of a professional team and learn new electrical skills on the job
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous carpentry or general construction experience required
  • Electrical experience or electrical apprenticeship experience is a plus, but not required
  • Willingness to learn and build a career in the electrical trade
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout the 495 belt
  • Comfortable traveling between Boston-area and Southern NH job sites
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
  • Ability to work safely and professionally on commercial construction sites
  • Must be willing to perform both electrical and general construction/carpentry work
  • NH Card is required
What the Work Looks Like Right Now

Our electrical division is growing. At the moment, you can expect to spend approximately 3 days per week doing electrical work, with the remaining time spent performing general carpentry and construction work as needed.

As our electrical workload continues to grow, the goal is for more of your time to transition into electrical work.

Much of the current electrical work involves replacing old commercial light fixtures with energy-efficient LED fixtures, giving apprentices valuable hands-on experience in commercial electrical work.

What You Get
  • Full health insurance
  • Weekly pay - on time, every time
  • Tool reimbursement
  • Free OSHA + safety training
  • Flex Time
  • Steady work across New England
  • Opportunities to develop your electrical skills
  • A team that knows your name and has your back
  • Real people available Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM
Build on the Skills You Already Have

You’ve already learned how to work with your hands, read a job site, use tools, and get construction work done. Now you can build on that experience and develop a career in electrical.

If you have carpentry experience and want to learn electrical, we want to hear from you.
