Principal Full Stack Engineer
On-site Every Other Week onsite / 5 days in either Physical Location or Salem, NH
Our client seeks a Principal Full Stack Engineer to design and deliver modern web applications and the CI/CD automation that ships them. The role emphasizes React for the frontend and Python for the backend within a Microsoft-centric environment including Azure and Microsoft Fabric. You will collaborate across teams, decompose complex problems into scalable solutions, and guide developers through best practices for application architecture, Dev Ops, and version control.
The position requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to mentor others.

Rate: $74.00 to $78.00/hr w2
Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using React on the frontend and Python on the backend.
- Own and implement CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts, and tooling to streamline builds, releases, and workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams leveraging Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and related services.
- Communicate technical needs and capabilities to technical and non-technical partners.
- Lead by example, guide, and mentor junior developers.
- Decompose complex business problems into efficient and scalable technical solutions.
- Apply Agile methodologies and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Work across traditional codebases and platform-based solutions in the Microsoft ecosystem, including Power Platform.
- 8+ years of full stack software engineering experience, preferably including financial services.
- Strong hands-on experience with React, JavaScript/Type Script, HTML/CSS, and related frontend tooling.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python for backend experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with CI/CD concepts and tools, including build pipelines, automation, and version control.
- Experience establishing and managing CI/CD pipelines for React and Python applications.
- Team collaboration experience delivering and supporting key applications and features.
- Knowledge of modern application architecture patterns and emerging technologies.
- Experience with Azure services, Microsoft Fabric, and the Microsoft ecosystem including Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate.
- Ability to create automation scripts to streamline deployments and workflows.
- Best practices in version control, release management, and Dev Ops in hybrid environments.
- Relational database skills and familiarity with SQL Server, Fabric, or Dataverse is a plus.
- AI integration exposure and use of generative AI development assistance tools is a plus.
- Strong communication, teamwork, polish, and presentation skills.
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.

The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
