The receiving clerk’s primary function is to receive items in and distribute parts/materials in an efficient and timely manner
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Receives incoming packages/deliveries throughout the day.
Verify parts/material quantities to packing slips and Kan Ban cards.
Delivers verified parts to proper location along with Kan Ban card.
Receives materials into Axapta, via packing slip.
Communicates with Purchasing any discrepancies found.
Manages 3rd bin material.
Keeps shipping area clean.
Competencies:
Accurate verification skills.
Accurate data entry skills.
Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.
Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in work.
Meets productivity standards; completes work in timely manner.
Observes safety and security procedures.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and ability to stand on feet for duration of the work shift.
