Evenings (Weekdays + Weekend Availability Required). Time Type:

• Provide prompt and excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly, and attentive manner.
• Greet customers upon entry and thank them upon exit.
• Assist customers and offer suggestions or recommendations.
• Ring up all sales on the cash register accurately, handling cash, checks, and other payment methods.
• Operate the fuel console, lottery machines, money order machine, telecom transactions, and other multi‑function equipment.
• Report to work on time and adhere to the dress and appearance code.
• Maintain the store facility and equipment to company and brand standards through cleaning and general housekeeping.
• Perform cleaning duties necessary to keep the store clean inside and out; keep equipment clean.
• Inspect store facilities and equipment for safety, cleanliness, and proper working order.
• Notify the Store Manager of any equipment failure, maintenance, or supply needs.
• Complete build‑to’s for ordering/purchasing merchandise.
• Receive and verify vendor deliveries.
• Maintain adequate stock throughout the store and supplies in counter areas; rotate stock properly.
• Place advertising and pricing signage inside or outside the facility.
• Control merchandise, cash shortages, and other selling expenses.
• Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels and shift audits.
• Keep accurate cash, sales, and inventory control records and account for variances.
• Notify the Store Manager of any sales, cash, or inventory discrepancies.
• Follow company and/or brand guidelines for product breakage or spoilage.
• Report all incidents, including employee or customer injuries, theft, property damage, or issues with sanitation or waste disposal to the Store Manager.
• Report any situation involving unsafe, unlawful, or unethical conduct.
• Keep accurate record of shift and timekeeping paperwork.
• Perform inventory of supplies and equipment as needed.
• Attend job‑related meetings; may be required to work irregular hours.
• Provide predictable onsite attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Experience in retail sales (preferred).
• Ability to accurately operate a variety of equipment (cash registers, scanners, beverage dispensers, etc.).
• Ability to work the scheduled shifts and arrive on time.
• Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Ability to perform the essential duties and physical functions described.
• Ability to work in the described conditions (extreme temperatures, noise, etc.).

The position requires exposure to cold or warm temperature extremes, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds (ground to waist) and up to 30 pounds (ground to overhead), reaching overhead, bending, twisting, pushing/pulling with up to 20 pounds, using a hand‑truck, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending, pushing, pulling, operating a cash register and/or computer keyboard, working alone, standing and walking for an entire shift, and occasional ladder use.

Approximately 95% of work is performed indoors; responsibilities also include cleaning parking lots, gas pumps, and taking out garbage. The environment may involve exposure to extreme cold temperatures, occasional noise, and minimum direction with periodic supervision.
