Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist

Compensation: up to 62k per year

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist to support daily accounting operations for a well‑established organization in Salem. This onsite role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of AP, AR, and general accounting support in a collaborative environment. In this role, you will:

• Manage full‑cycle Accounts Payable, including invoice entry, coding, vendor communication, and payment processing.
• Handle Accounts Receivable tasks such as invoicing, cash applications, payment posting, and light collections follow‑up.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and assist with general ledger maintenance.
• Maintain organized, accurate accounting files and documentation (paper and digital).
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies, vendor issues, and customer account questions.

To be a fit, you must have:

• 1–3+ years of hands‑on AP and/or AR experience.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organized in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience with Quick Books, Net Suite, or similar accounting software (willing to learn new systems).
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (debits/credits, reconciliations).
• Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a collaborative mindset.
