Senior Accountant

Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with strong knowledge of ERP systems The ideal candidate will manage general ledger accounting, support month-end close processes, perform account reconciliations and contribute to the improvement of our financial procedures. If you are an analytical professional with a knack for numbers and problem-solving, we'd like to meet you.

Responsibilities:

+ Oversee daily transactions, including general ledger and bank reconciliations

+ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

+ Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance

+ Collaborate with the Financial Controller to ensure smooth audit workflows

+ Participate in budgeting (for departments and projects)

+ Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures

+ Develop expertise on our ERP systems, being the point of contact for any issues or improvements

+ Train other staff on the usage of the ERP system when required

+ Manage the month-end and year-end closing process

Requirements

Requirements:

+ Proven experience as a Senior Accountant

+ Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or similar field

+ Solid knowledge of an ERP system is essential

+ Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles

+ Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail

+ Strong numeracy and financial awareness

+ Ability to effectively manage time, meet deadlines, and work under pressure

+ Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software

+ In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

+ Exceptional communication
