Senior Accountant

LHH is partnered with a growing professional services firm is adding a Senior Accountant to support continued expansion and improve day-to-day accounting operations. This is a hands‑on role with ownership across core accounting functions, along with the opportunity to drive process improvements following a recent system implementation.

• Base pay: $34-48/hour
• Performance based bonuses

What You’ll Own

• Full cycle accounting (journal entries, GL maintenance)
• Accounts Payable + Accounts Receivable ownership
• Monthly & annual financial statements (B/S & P&L)
• Account reconciliations (bank, credit card, general ledger)
• Excel‑based reporting, dashboards, and billing analysis
• Budget vs. actuals support
• Process improvement initiatives to support company growth

What They’re Looking For

• 4+ years of accounting experience (degree preferred but not required)
• Strong understanding of day‑to‑day accounting operations
• Ability to own processes and operate independently
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and process‑improvement mindset
• Strong communication across internal stakeholders
