Job Description

The Behavioral Health Division of the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) supports programs, policies, and services that promote recovery and wellbeing for individuals experiencing mental illness, substance use disorders, and gambling disorders. Within this context, the Aid and Assist, Community Restoration Evaluation Unit (CRU) plays a pivotal role by overseeing operations and developing policies that shape forensic behavioral health services across Oregon.

This position provides detail‑oriented administrative and operational support to the CRU, ensuring the smooth flow of information, documentation, and communication across teams and partners statewide. The work strengthens unit operations, maintains compliance, supports staff and leadership, and drives effective program activities that serve adults throughout Oregon’s behavioral health system.

Minimum Qualifications

Two years of secretarial or basic administrative support experience that includes records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data; or an associate degree in general office occupations and one year of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Details
  • This is a full‑time, permanent, SEIU represented position based in Salem, Oregon.
  • The position is hybrid, with approximately 10% in‑person work.
  • Employment is contingent upon a criminal records check and a driving records check that meet OHA criteria.
  • The listed salary is the non‑PERS qualifying range; PERS eligibility will increase the range by 6.95%.
