- We pay 95% to 99% of medical insurance premiums for full-time employees, including mental health coverage.

The Crook County Circuit Court in Prineville, Oregon, is hiring a Cashier/Application Contribution Program Clerk (Court Operations Associate). In this role, you will accept and process documents submitted to the court, review the documents for accuracy and completeness, enter information into our case management system, and calculate the filing fees owed. You will process payments for fines, fees, assessments, bail, security, and copies.
You will credit customers’ accounts, generate receipts, balance a cash drawer, and prepare bank deposits and related paperwork. Additionally, you will provide case management for civil, probate, small claims, landlord/tenant, juvenile, and dissolution cases. You will scan documents, verify the quality of scanned images, and enter the images into the electronic record. The support you provide to the public, litigants, attorneys, agency representatives, judges, and court staff will be in person, over the phone, and in writing.
As the Application Contribution Program Clerk, you will conduct personal interviews with program applicants to obtain information about their households and finances. You will review and verify this information to determine applicants’ level of needed support. You will recommend determinations of eligibility to the court and appear at contested court hearings related to eligibility for services. You will also perform data entry, maintain applicant files, and prepare statistical information, reports, and correspondence.
You will spend part of your time processing requests for accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Assigned tasks may be changed to accommodate workload and organizational needs.
