Our mission: make cloud computing accessible, fast, and secure for every developer, everywhere.

Role

In this role you will help define and execute our cloud market strategy, partnering across engineering, GTM, and executive teams to build competitive cloud products and lead cross‑functional teams. • Leading cross‑functional execution across product, engineering, and SRE, ensuring alignment and delivery against roadmap priorities.
  • Partnering with engineering, design, sales, and marketing to bring products from concept to launch and scale adoption.
  • Leveraging deep market, customer, and industry insights to identify differentiation opportunities and shape product positioning.
  • Owning business outcomes across your portfolio, including revenue growth, adoption, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborating with go‑to‑market leadership on pricing, packaging, and segment strategy, and representing Akamai externally with customers, partners, and analysts.
Qualifications
  • 15 years of product management experience in cloud, compute, or infrastructure domains; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Successful track record of building and scaling product management organizations, including hiring, mentoring, and establishing effective operating rhythms.
  • Experience defining and executing product strategy at a senior level, including vision setting, stakeholder alignment, and cross‑functional execution.
  • Deep fluency in cloud computing concepts, including compute, virtualization, containerization, storage, networking, and managed services.
  • Experience launching and scaling products successfully, with the ability to articulate outcomes, lessons learned, and areas for improvement.
  • Ability to align stakeholders through clear communication, collaboration, and influential leadership.
  • Lead through influence across engineering, SRE, and operations, aligning stakeholders around a shared product vision.
  • Navigate across developer and enterprise audiences, understanding distinct needs and buying motions.
  • Executive presence and excellent communication skills, representing the company effectively with customers, partners, and analysts.
