We are seeking a deadline-driven Construction Superintendent to oversee construction projects and serve as the primary link between project stakeholders. The Construction Superintendent is responsible for leading and managing on-site construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract documents and company standards.
The Construction Superintendent ensures jobsite orderliness, safety compliance, quality control, and availability of materials and equipment. This role coordinates closely with project management, subcontractors, inspectors, and clients to successfully deliver projects without compromising quality or company values.
Responsibilities- Lead, manage, and supervise the on-site construction team
- Coordinate and oversee all daily construction activities
- Create, manage, and update construction schedules to maintain project milestones
- Review and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence and identifying risks
- Attend and actively participate in production and coordination meetings
- Ensure work is performed in compliance with drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Enforce quality standards and corrective actions as needed
- Order materials and manage equipment and site inventory
- Monitor project progress and enforce timelines to meet deadlines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite in compliance with safety regulations
- Complete and maintain daily field reports, RFIs, field orders, and other site documentation
- Coordinate inspections and liaise with authorities having jurisdiction
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or equivalent role
- Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Experience using construction scheduling software and CAD/CAE applications
- Ability to take, manage, and upload digital photographs for documentation
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and build according to drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
