Project Estimator

Advanced Tower Components is a steel manufacturer specializing in custom and off the shelf wireless infrastructure products and commercial structural projects. Our customers include wireless carriers, tower owners and general contractors throughout the Western United States.

Advanced Tower Components has an immediate need for a highly motivated and talented individual for the Structural Steel Estimator position in our Project Management Department. This individual will work on customer's requests for quotations computing accurate prices from material take offs.

• Prioritize quote requests and needs based on information provided by customer
• Review construction documents and define scope of work
• Execute take-offs from production documents and utilize computer applications to expedite cost analysis of material, labor, equipment, and overhead costs
• Produce final estimate while meeting assigned margin levels as determined by division goals
• Maintain productive relations with customers, general contractors, inspectors and suppliers to ensure we meet our company goal of delivering customer satisfaction and quality that meets or exceeds expectations
• Verify customer purchase orders received against quote documents and confirm order specifics
• Maintain a cooperative attitude in dealing with all departments of the company as a team player and a primary customer contact

• 2+ years of fabrication or structural steel project estimating or equivalent industry experience
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, experience using E2 or similar ERP software is a plus
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• The ability to solve complex problems with a high attention to detail
• The ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment subject to specific deadlines that must be met, while verifying the accuracy of own and/or others’ work
• The ability to effectively communicate and interact with employees at all levels within the organization and follow instructions
• An acceptable attendance and prior employment record
