Customer Service Representative (Public Service Representative
3). Full‑time, permanent position located in Salem, Oregon.

Job Summary

Provide high‑quality customer service for the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife by responding to inquiries about fish and wildlife licenses, regulations, and agency services. Support license agents and customers through email, phone, and in‑person assistance, explain agency rules and statutory requirements, monitor and report system concerns, and troubleshoot issues with the Electronic License System (ELS).

Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries via email, phone, and in‑person.
  • Explain ODFW rules, regulations, and statutory requirements in clear terms.
  • Assist with license issue resolution and troubleshoot Electronic License System problems.
  • Monitor and report system concerns to appropriate staff.
  • Support a variety of agency activities as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Two years of customer service experience.
  • At least one year of experience explaining rules, regulations, and policies and handling unique or unusual situations.
