Overview

Special Programs Instructional Assistant - Bilingual - ESSA.

Purpose:

To improve student achievement by assisting a licensed teacher in planning and implementation of an educational program, including individualized education programs (IEPs). Assigned educational programs may include general and bilingual education settings.

• Assist a licensed teacher in the planning and implementation of an educational program, including IEPs.
• Support students to perform instructional activities in accordance with the prescribed lesson plan and provide a safe, healthy environment.
• Perform a variety of general clerical duties as needed.

• Must be able to speak, read and write Spanish and English fluently.
• Bilingual assessment will be required.

  Hours per day: 7.5; SPIA: 4.25 Hours, 188 days Permanent, $23.15 - $29.53; IA: 3.25 Hours, 188 days Permanent, $19.96 - $25.59.
