To improve student achievement by assisting a licensed teacher in the planning and implementation of an educational program, including individualized education programs (IEPs). Assigned educational programs may include both general and bilingual education settings.

Assist a licensed teacher in the planning and implementation of educational programs, including individualized education programs (IEPs). Assigned programs may include both general and bilingual education settings.

• Must speak, read, and write Spanish and English fluently.
• Must complete a Bilingual Assessment.
• Must meet ESSA proficiency requirements in reading, writing, and math.

All paraprofessionals working in a Title I funded school must meet certain proficiency in reading, writing and math. If you meet any of the ESSA requirements, you must register this information with the district by attaching transcripts and/or test results to your application. These materials will be reviewed to verify compliance.
