Dean of Nursing

Serve as Dean of Nursing to provide leadership to the nursing department. Responsible and authority for the direction of the LPN, RN, BSN, and Nursing Assistant programs and regulations as governed by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) and supports the Bachelor of Science:
Nursing Community College Collaborative (BSNCCC).

The Dean of Nursing reports to the Executive Dean of CTE to help manage the nursing department operations, including personnel hiring, performance management, budgetary and curricular functions. Strong focus on exploring and improving teaching and learning, assessing student learning outcomes, improving curricular offerings, retaining students, cultural fluency, and developing staff. Provide leadership in departmental planning and academic affairs with a strong focus on equitable practices.

Serve on appropriate college, community, and statewide councils, committees, and task forces.
