Position Overview
Instructional Assistant – Classified, Permanent position starting September 3, 2026. 7 hours per day, 188 days per year.
Hourly rate: $19.96 – $25.59 (based on the 2025‑26 schedule).
Responsibilities- Assist a licensed teacher in planning and implementing an educational program for students.
- Support students in carrying out instructional activities according to the prescribed lesson plan.
- Help maintain a safe, healthy environment for all students.
- Perform a variety of general clerical duties as needed.
Paraprofessionals working in a Title I funded school must demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing and math. Applicants who meet these requirements must register their data with the district by submitting transcripts or test results at the time of application.
