Special Programs Instructional Assistant - ESSA

To improve student achievement by assisting a licensed teacher in the planning and implementation of an educational program, including individualized education programs (IEPs). Assigned educational programs may include both general and special education settings.

This position will work closely with the behavior team to support students both proactively as well as in response to spotaneous needs.

• Assist licensed teacher in planning and implementing educational programs, including IEPs for general and special education students.
• Work closely with the behavior team to support students proactively and respond to spotaneous needs.

• Classified status; paid $23.15 - $29.53 hourly.
• Hours per day: 5.5; number of days per year: 188; permanent starting September 3, 2026.
• ESSA documentation required: must register reading, writing, and math proficiency; attach transcripts or test results.
• Interview required: virtual, in person, or one-way video; failure to participate eliminates eligibility.

• Permanent position starting September 3, 2026.
