Special Programs Instructional Assistant - Bilingual - ESSA

Purpose

To improve student achievement by assisting a licensed teacher in the planning and implementation of an educational program, including individualized education programs (IEPs). Assigned educational programs may include both general and bilingual education settings.

Qualifications

• MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK, READ, AND WRITE SPANISH AND ENGLISH FLUENTLY
• Bilingual Assessment Will Be Required
• ESSA proficiency in reading, writing and math (ESSA requires all paraprofessionals working in a Title I funded school to meet certain proficiency in these areas)
