ESSA - Special Programs Instructional Assistant - Bilingual, 2026-27 School Year - Early Childhood Education

• To improve student achievement by assisting a licensed teacher in the planning and implementation of an educational program, including individualized education programs (IEPs). Assigned educational programs may include both general and bilingual education settings.

• Must be able to speak, read and write Spanish and English fluently.
• Bilingual assessment will be required.

• What is ESSA? The federal Every Student Succeeds Act works to support equal opportunity for disadvantaged students and eliminate barriers to student success. ESSA requires all paraprofessionals working in a Title I funded school to meet certain proficiency in reading, writing and math.
