ESSA Instructional Assistant (IA):
Assist a licensed teacher in the planning and implementation of an educational program, support student instructional activities aligned with the lesson plan, provide a safe and healthy environment, and perform general clerical duties.

School Office Specialist (SOS):
Perform a variety of moderately complex clerical duties using office equipment and computer software in a school office setting, providing direct administrative support for the school.

School‑Based Health Assistant (SBHA):
Conduct duties related to supporting the health and safety of students in schools.

What is ESSA?
The federal Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) supports equal opportunity for disadvantaged students and eliminates barriers to student success. ESSA requires paraprofessionals in Title I funded schools to demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, and math. Selected applicants will participate in an interview process conducted virtually, in person, or via a one‑way video. Interview participation is required; non‑compliance will eliminate eligibility for the position.
