Special Programs Instructional Assistant – Bilingual – ESSA

Purpose:

To improve student achievement by assisting a licensed teacher in the planning and implementation of an educational program, including individualized education programs (IEPs). Assigned educational programs may include both general and bilingual education settings.

• Assist a licensed teacher in planning and implementing educational programs, including IEPs.
• Support both general and bilingual education settings.

• Bilingual: must be able to speak, read, and write Spanish and English fluently.
• Required to complete a Bilingual Assessment.
• ESSA documentation required; provide transcripts or test results as part of the application.
• Will be required to participate in an interview process (virtual, in person, or one‑way video). Non‑compliance with the interview eliminates eligibility.
