Purpose:
To improve student achievement by assisting a licensed teacher in the planning and implementation of an educational program, including individualized education programs (IEPs). Assigned educational programs may include both general and special education settings.

Assist a licensed teacher with the planning and implementation of classroom instruction, including support for both general and special education settings.
ESSA RequirementsMust meet proficiency in reading, writing, and math as required for paraprofessionals in Title I funded schools. Applicants who meet these requirements must register their information with the district by submitting approved transcripts and/or test results.
