Special Education Teachers (Elementary & High School) | Salem, OR | School Year
We are currently seeking four qualified Special Education Teachers to join a supportive school district in Salem, Oregon for the school year.
Open Positions:
- 2 Elementary Special Education Teachers
- 2 High School Special Education Teachers
Compensation:
- Local Candidates: $48.00 - $51.95 per hour
- Travelers (residing more than 50 miles from the assignment): $2,078.00 - $2,264.00 gross weekly
Required Qualifications:
- Current Oregon Special Education Teaching License/Credentials
- Previous Special Education classroom teaching experience
- Experience developing and implementing IEPs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, administrators, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
