Ready to make a significant impact in special education? This full-time, onsite contract opportunity near Salem, OR, is seeking passionate Special Education Teachers for the  academic year. With caseloads spanning K-12, assignments will be tailored based on your background and interests, providing you with the chance to thrive in an environment that values your expertise.

Multiple positions are available, including in the following settings:

• A middle school life skills program supporting 12 students with a mix of behavioral and academic needs, alongside 4 instructional assistants
• An elementary K-2 developmental classroom guiding 16 students many working on foundation skills, functional routines, and some who are non-verbal with the help of 5 instructional assistants
• Two openings at an intensive Behavioral Health Center: an elementary behavior program serving grades 3-5 with 13 students and 4 instructional assistants

Ideal candidates will bring:

• Valid Special Education Teacher credentials for K-12
• Experience with diverse student populations and a range of learning and behavioral needs
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individual needs
• Dedication to fostering a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment
• Onsite availability for the full academic year (September 9, 2026, through June 26, 2027)
