At Precious Cargo Preschool & Childcare, our Float Teachers are an important part of keeping our classrooms happy, supported, and running smoothly. Instead of spending every day in the same classroom, you'll get to work throughout our program, helping teachers, building relationships with children, covering breaks, jumping into activities, and stepping in wherever you're needed most.

No two days are exactly the same!

• Jump into different classrooms and quickly become part of the fun
• Engage with children through play, art, stories, music, outdoor time, and everyday learning
• Help teachers keep classrooms safe, organized, and running smoothly
• Cover teacher breaks, lunches, planning time, and absences
• Assist with meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, transitions, and classroom routines
• Help with cleaning, sanitizing, and resetting classrooms
• Build positive relationships with children throughout the center
• Be the reliable extra set of hands our team can count on when things get busy

We're looking for someone who is dependable, flexible, positive, and genuinely enjoys being around children.

You will be a great fit if you can walk into a classroom and think, "What can I do to help?" rather than waiting to be told what needs to be done.

You should be comfortable with busy days, changing plans, lots of movement, messy art projects, silly songs, playground adventures, and children who may decide you're their new best friend five minutes after meeting you.

This is a great position for someone who loves variety! You'll get experience with different ages, classrooms, teachers, and teaching styles while becoming someone our entire center knows and loves.
